Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Former two-time world title holder Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
Despite these statements, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the novice remains one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making huge earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters met for the usual stare-down, with their size difference clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really happening.
