The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Fighters Party

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, new Dungeon Master Brennan Lee Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with rich lore, a wide array of personalities, and a gripping narrative featuring angels, demons, and sinister influences expanding in strength within Dol-Makjar.

Note: Revealing details for Episode 3 of this adventure follow below.

The Combat-Oriented Party Introduced

The third episode finished on a huge suspense moment and introduced the initial group of characters who will separate from the central cast to embark on their independent quest, separate from the remaining groups.

The Soldiers table consists of Teor Pridesire (portrayed by Travis), the nimble rogue (Laura Bailey), the fierce warrior (Whitney), the cleric (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie Daymond).

Why Split the Party?

Considering 13 cast members, it was obvious from the start that keeping everyone at one table would be impossible.

That’s why, the first four episodes of Campaign 4 serve as an Overture, weaving together the characters’ stories before splitting into three separate parties: Warriors, Schemers, and Questers.

What Defines the Combat Party

Per the DM, the combat-focused party is for adventurers who prefer a traditionally charged fight-heavy gameplay experience where diplomatic options are scarce.

Upon first impression, characters like the squeamish cleric the cleric might look unsuited, but the developments of the third episode show why these five characters are best suited for the Soldiers table.

Why They Must Go

To begin with, the team knows exactly where to head next after a intense first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

Casimir of Thjazi Fang—whose demise kicked off the story’s plot—manipulated the enemy for his selfish purposes, invading the hidden lair, assaulting Thimble, and taking all the powerful objects to dispose of.

Casimir then settled his obligations and escaped to a Halovar stronghouse in the remote area, above the urban center, with Teor’s brother close behind.

Character Drivers

Additionally, each character has a personal reason to leave the city Dol-Makjar:

  • The agile hero, as Thjazi’s partner and best friend, wants vengeance.
  • Kattigan knows the northern area and warns that it is a nasty place.
  • Tyranny and The healer, having disobeyed his relatives’ demands to execute the target and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
  • But, their reputation as key figures in the powerful family could enable the team enter areas they normally couldn’t.
  • Moreover, The fighter swore a life debt to The savior for his rescue and will now go with him wherever.

Wanted and Hunted

In addition, all of them are wanted by the rulers that control the setting for a variety of reasons, making staying in the city no longer safe:

  • The rogue and The character are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The warrior and The cleric betrayed the powerful family and the army of fiends they are partnered with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by the family.

This results in them no alternative but to travel to the northern region in search of the antagonist.

What’s Next?

From the recent installment’s post-show segment, we learn that the Soldiers table will not appear in the upcoming installment, leaving the rest of the cast members to form the Seekers and Planners groups.

Fans can expect discovering which characters will be assigned to which table in the season’s final introductory chapter, streaming live on next week.
